YW Presidency Message
“I am of infinite worth with my own divine mission, which I will strive to fulfill.”
It is so important for each of us to get our patriarchal blessing when ready, both in age and in spirit. Recently I had to make a really big decision. I talked to a few friends, my husband, co-workers but in the end a “very wise” friend told me to read my patriarchal blessing and really dissect it. That was the answer! Heavenly Father put the answer right under my nose and I totally forgot about it. I had read it occasionally, but I never read it through these eyes with this spirit. I have had my patriarchal blessing for 13 years and EVERY time I read it His words have a new meaning for me.
Heavenly Father intended for all of us to receive it, to cherish it, take counsel from it and read it often with a prayerful heart.
Once again this proves to me that this church is true, that our Heavenly Father knows each one of us and deems us worthy as His daughters to give us a path to follow that no one else can provide for us. Take a look around you and really look at how many people love you and think that you are worthy of their love.
Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God (D&C 18:10).
